Hi I'm J. Linders

I love music. I swim. I'm married. And I provide care for a young man in a wheelchair. Life is good. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi, I'm a Mormon. I used to be a substitute teacher. I swim regularly. I sing in the church choir.

Why I am a Mormon

My mom and dad were converted when I was seven years old. I was baptised when I turned eight. I did not know it at the time but it would have a huge influence on the rest of my life. I guess I gained a strong testimony when I was about 14 or 15 years old. I prayed and found out for myself that the Book of Mormon is true. As I read the Book of Mormon I know 'twas God inspired and I'm thankful to my Father for all that has transpired.

How I live my faith

I try to read the scriptures daily, keep the commandments, and do a good deed daily. I just try to attend my meetings and to do what's asked me. At home, I try to help my wife, be kind, loving, gentle, meek, and try to be a righteous man for her. We go to the Temple as often as we can. At home, I also provide care for young man (not that young-he's in his forties) in a wheelchair. He has lived with us for 25 years now, and is just like a son to me. He too is a faithful member. He works at the YMCA as the towel-man.
