Hi I'm Emily

I'm a wife to a really hard working man. I love being a mother to 4 little children. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am a wife and a mother to four cute kids. We just moved to Colorado, but for the past 8 years we lived on the East coast. We loved it. Growing up in Utah I never thought I would live anywhere else. But from living on the East coast I learned to appreciate all kind of peoples and cultures. I learned to serve better and and grew so much. I enjoy reading, being outdoors, playing with my kids and baking sweet things.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church but that is not the only reason I'm still a member. Being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints makes me happy. I see so unhappy people in the world doing unhappy things. I know that that when I keep Heavenly Father's commandments I am happier. I know that Jesus lives and I know that he has restored his true church to the Earth. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is his only true church and I am happy that I have been blessed to be a member of it. I'm a Mormon because I believe in living prophets. I am grateful every day that we have a living prophet on the earth today. I feel at peace knowing that he speaks to Jesus and Heavenly Father and that he gives us council. What a blessing that is. I believe everyone on earth can have this knowledge also.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith every day. I teach my children to tell others about their church. I tell people I am a Mormon so they can ask questions if they would like. I have served in many different callings in the church and each has helped me grow. Right now I organize spiritual and service activities for the ladies in my ward. We try to help our sisters grow spiritually and we also like to serve others who may not be as blessed as we are. It is a great calling and can be challenging but it is also fun.
