Hi I'm Emily

I am a military wife and a stay at home mom. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a stay at home mom and stay busy with the kids. I'm currently pursuing an education as well. Despite my busy schedule I still make time for the church and my family. I love to spend time with my husband and our 2 children. As a family we enjoy fishing, camping, trips to the park, and playing the Wii. Church is also important to me. I love my church calling and the time I get to spend with my ward family.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the church. It has been such a blessing in my life to have parents who lived and taught me the gospel principles. As a parent, I now realize how important it is for me to teach the same things to my children. The church has always been important to me, but I wouldn't be where I am today if it weren't for my parents, friends, and church leaders. I was fortunate to grow up in an area where the majority of my friends were members. I was able to surround myself with people that helped me live the ways of the gospel. I believe the Book of Mormon is another testament of Christ and provides much guidance and peace as I read and study it. My testimony grows stronger each das as I strive to live the gospel principles and follow my Savior's example.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith by being an example. Being in the military we have met a lot of non-members. I try to live my life so the know I'm a Mormon. I never want there to be a shadow of a doubt that I'm not doing what has been asked of me. I try to serve others. I'm willing to do just about anything someone stands in need of. I work with the women in our ward. I love this opportunity I have been given. I love learning from them, teaching them, providing service, and being their friend. I help to organize activities for the sisters in our ward to gather together and learn important gospel principles.
