Hi I'm Mark

I was born and reared in Utah. After graduation from Weber State University I moved to Washington state. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My wife and I have 4 married daughters, so we now have our sons (in-law). I enjoy playing golf when it isn't raining. I have a non-traditional man hobby of counted cross stitch. I have completed Christmas stockings for the girls and a couple of the son-in-laws. I have a couple of ribbons from the local state fair as well. My wife and I enjoy traveling, which includes camping (not my favorite) to cruising (my favorite) and visiting our children who live outside our state.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church and baptized at 8 years of age. I got my testimony serving a mission in Sapporo Japan. I saw lives change, not only in the people I taught but also in my family at home. I have stayed active and have seen our children marry in the temple. It is great to see them grow their families with the teaching of Jesus Christ. I think family is one of the most important things we are given in this life.

How I live my faith

I currently serve in the church on the High Council of the Kent Stake. The High Council is made up of 12 men who are assigned to administer the programs of the church in the local area. I am responsibility for the missionary work in the stake and also assist one of the wards in the Stake.
