Hi I'm Ben Palmer

I am a member of the LDS church. My parents joined the church while they were in college, and I grew up in the church.

About Me

I recently graduated college with a Bachelors in Manufacturing Engineering. I have been married for a little over 3 years now and live in Colorado with my wife. We love the ocean and wish we could Scuba Dive more often. But we also love the mountains. I am a scout leader and work with troop 787.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents joined the church when they were in College. So I grew up in the church and found a sincere joy when I went to church with them. I was always close to my family, and going to church was always a special part of my life. There did come a point when I had to determine whether or not I knew the LDS teachings were true to me or not. I found this through sincere prayer to my Heavenly Father. It didn't happen all at once; matter in fact, it was a compilation of experiences over my entire life. It really came more as a realization that I knew all along, and simply had to recognize my Heavenly Father's love and influence. I've always known the Church to be true, and this knowledge has grown with time and experience.

How I live my faith

Right now I am working with the youth in my church. I work with 12 to 13 year old boys and am an assistant scout leader. These boys are amazing men, and I have really enjoyed working with them. We do a lot of activities such as campouts, hikes, service projects and a lot of other fun activities. I find a lot of joy working with them and find happiness in serving with them. When my wife and I have children, I hope to have boys like them and to do the same activities with them as well.
