Hi I'm Melissa Gualberto Lunceford

I'm a Mormon. I grew up in Dulag, Leyte Philippines but I am currently living in Fort Wayne, Indiana USA. I love the gospel.

About Me

I love outdoors activities like hiking or go on long walks. I also love watching sci fi movies.I am married to Dave Lunceford - my eternal companion. I finished college with a major in Economics. I have two sisters and 3 brothers. I was baptized when i was 14 years old. I am currently working as purchasing officer. My present callings are gospel doctrine teacher (institute class) and primary secretary both in the ward and in the stake. I love the gospel with all my heart. It serves as my guide as i struggle here on earth.

Why I am a Mormon

I was baptized in the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints because i know that this is the only true church of Jesus Christ on earth. Prophet Joseph Smith, Jun. restored Christ's church once again on earth under the command of Angel Moroni whom God sent to declare to prophet Joseph Smith, Jun the things he would do pertaining to the coming forth of the Book of Mormon and the restoration of the church. I believe that God is the same yesterday, today and forever. He is mindful not only for the salvation and exaltation of ancient people but he also is mindful for us in this last dispensation that after long years of great apostasy came the time that the gospel and the priesthood power is once again restored on earth. The fullness of the gospel is already in us. I love the gospel and the church. It serves as my liahona and guide while i struggle in this life. This life is the time for us to prepare to meet God. I know if we will continue to be obedient to the commandment (laws and ordinances of the gospel) of God and endure to the end we shall have eternal life which gift is the greatest of all the gifts of God.

How I live my faith

I love to serve other people. I know that when we serve our fellow beings ye are in the service of God. I love my calling as gospel doctrine teacher and primary secretary. It helps me build my faith become stronger. I know that by reading the scriptures we will know more about our Heavenly Father and in His Son Jesus Christ and of the Holy Ghost. Regular prayer and scripture study is a big help and blessings for me. I become strong to face whatever trials that have come or may come on my way by living what i have learned in the church and the gospel. Obedience to the commandments brings great blessings both temporal and spiritual.
