Hi I'm Tim

I was raised in Southern California and have lived in Denver Colorado for the past 5 years. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up loving sports, especially football. I started as a quarterback all 4 years in high school. I was invited to walk on and play for BYU football. My entire career has been in retail. I worked at the corporate offices of Kohls Department Stores for about 5 years before working for Sports Authority corporate. I currently work for Atkins Nutritionals as their Purchasing Manager. I'm a father of 5 beautiful children (4 girls and 1 boy). My wife and I have been happily married for 11 years.

Why I am a Mormon

I am so thankful to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I am a better husband, father, and employee because I've applied the gospel of Jesus Christ in my life. I am thankful to know that I have a loving Father in Heaven who is very aware of me and the details of my life. I know He wants me to be happy and succesful in this life and I know that happiness and success comes through living the principles of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I am grateful to know that I can live with my wife and children for eternity. Despite the many challenges we face as a family, we base our faith and hope that our Savior will redeem us and lift us up so long as we strive to keep his commandments. I have know that as we turn our lives to the Savior He will help us make more of our lives. We will find more hope, joy, and strength to press forward.

How I live my faith

I grew up in a family of 5 boys and a girl. All 5 of us boys received our Eagle Scout award. As an Eagle Scout, I committed to always give back to scouting. Since becoming an Eagle Scout, I have been an assistant varsity scout leader, assistant scout master, and the President of the Young Mens organization. In these roles I have been able to not only serve the youth in helping them understand their duty to God and country, but I've been able to give back to our communities through several hours of community service. I currently serve as a home teacher to two wonderful families and I serve as the second counselor in the Bishopric. In these roles I'm able to serve many individuals in our congregation by teaching them the gospel of Jesus Christ. I feel like most of my teaching comes through the way I live my life by trying to live the gospel of Jesus Christ.
