Hi I'm George

I live in the Denver area, I'm a husband, father, attorney and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love spending time with my family, especially in the mountains, hiking camping and fishing. My wife and I have 4 kids ranging from 7 to1 7. My only claim to fame is that while attending high school I had a job at Lehi Roller Mills, the place where the dance scenes in the movie Footloose were filmed. I spent two years on Taiwan on a church mission where I learned to speak Mandarin Chinese.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, but I am still a member today because I read and prayed about the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon while I was in my teens and the Holy Ghost confirmed to me that the Book of Mormon is the word of God and that therefore, Joseph Smith is a prophet.

How I live my faith

I live my faith primarily in my home. I attend worship services on a weekly basis and serve as a clerk helping the leadership keep accurate records, but to me the focus of the gospel of Jesus Christ is centered in the home. I don't have much influence in the world around me, but I can be an influence for good in my home, teaching my kids to follow the example of our Savior Jesus Christ. I know that my relationships with the wife and children will be one of the few things I can take with me when I die, and I want to give them every opportunity come to know their Savior so that we can be an eternal family.
