Hi I'm Caralee

I'm a happy, stay at home, soccer mom. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was raised in a large family. I owe my parents,my brothers and sisters, and many of the adults in my young life, the many of my successes I have had over the years. I am mother of three children, who I love with all my heart. I am a very lucky wife of a wonderful man who makes my life complete. I am a baker! I love everything about it. I bake everything from desserts to breads, and I do it well. And then I blog about what I make. As a young adult I obtained my bachelors degree from Utah State University. I found a passion in working with adults with disabilities, I love these special people and the added qualities to my character they gave to me. They are here to make the rest of us better people. I worked in Grand Teton National Park during college. I love the great outdoors. I have been able to live amongst many different types of people, from Philadelphia, PA to Seattle, WA. I love becoming familiar with different cultures that make our country so amazing. I am an actively involved American. This country is ours and lets keep it free. I am so grateful for the gospel in the my life, the knowledge that I have gained throughout my life makes me the person I am today.

Why I am a Mormon

I remember when I read the Book of Mormon all the way through for the first time. I was fifteen years old and I prayed to know if it was true, the Holy Ghost confirmed that it was. I know the way I see the happy and sad times of this life would not be the same if I were not a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Through the gospel we know that families can be together forever, and that everyone will be resurrected. This became especially meaningful to me when my brother passed away suddenly. The spirit has testified to me that he will be with our family forever because of the sacrifice of our Savior, Jesus Christ. I know that we are all children of our Father in Heaven and he knows us personally and loves us. I love him, and I KNOW this is his true church on this earth.

How I live my faith

I always try hard to follow the example of the Savior. He was always reaching out to others and showing love. The opportunities I have had to serve at home, in the community, and at church have blessed my life. We learn to love those who we serve.
