Hi I'm Adam

I'm an Optimist, I'm an Athlete, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in California, but grew up in Utah. I'm the youngest of a big family and have amazing parents and siblings who teach me alot. I've always had a deep love for sports. Soccer in particular. Its my work out, my pass time, and my passion. I also love to be on the water. Whether it be wakeboarding, wake surfing, or wave running, I love the rush! I enjoy music- the rhythm and the rhyme- to listen and create. There is nothing quite like making music with people that you love. I have incredible friends who are always there for me. I am a strong believer in the 4 F's: Faith, Family, Friends, and Fun. I don't know how I would survive if you take any of those away. I once served as a Full-time missionary in the Washington Seattle Mission. It's the greatest mission in the world!

Why I am a Mormon

Growing up, my family was very active in the church. My parents raised me with great morals and values. The credit for our happy loving family was given to God. I was always taught to follow Jesus Christ. My parents and family were never afraid to share their testimonies with me. I lived off of their testimonies for a while. There does come a time, however, that everyone must find out for themselves. I never really doubted the church, but for a while it began to move down on my priority list. As it did, I could slowly see my personal happiness dropping too. I'm not sure if my parents saw that I was down or if they were just being great parents like always, but one night they just gave me a friendly reminder to read my scriptures. That night I found a verse in the Book of Mormon that changed my life. Mosiah 7:33. Somewhere in between the lines, God gave me the answers I was looking for and I am so grateful to him for that. I later left on a mission. The testimony I had when I left has definately been magnified. The closer I get to my Father in Heaven, the more I become the man I want to be.

How I live my faith

I was once a Full-time Missionary for the Church. Sharing the gospel is incredible. I have come to love the people of the Washington Seattle area so much.Since I have returned, I live my faith in the way i interact and treat people. I have come to love my Savior so much. Living my faith is a lifestyle-not a once a week thing. Everyday of my life i do my best to see people as Christ would see them, Serve people as Christ would serve them, and love people as Christ would love them. Obviously I am a long way off but the more I try the happier I am. I live my faith in daily personal prayer. Communication with my Father in Heaven is one of the things that keeps me going each day.

How can faith in Jesus Christ influence us in our marriages and family relationships? in our friendships?
