Hi I'm Charisse

I love to camp, cook, read, blog, walk my dog, go to Zumba and I am a Mormon

About Me

I am a Mother of four and have been married for 24 years. As a family we enjoy spending time together regardless of what it is- watching a movie, riding our 4-wheeler s, going camping, playing games, hiking, baking or just hanging out. My husband and I started our own business 2 years ago, so we have been struggling with constantly working together and separating our home and work life. All of my kids are grown and gone, so we have been getting use to having a quiet home, I have 3 boys a daughter and now son-in law and I can't wait to be a Grandma.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of the joy, peace and happiness that I find when I am living by it's principles. I am grateful to know that I am literally a daughter of God, that he is my father, that he loves me and wants me to be happy. I am grateful to know that I can have a personal relationship with him, that he can guide me, lead me and bless me. There was a time in my life when I did not live my religion and those where some of my darkest and unhappy days. When I live what I know to be true that is when I find myself the most happiest and content. That is why I am a Mormon

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending church every week and being involved. I also teach and plan activities for young women between the ages of 12-18 on Sundays as well as Wednesdays. We have a great time learning more about our Savior Jesus Christ, cooking, playing games, and helping people who might need some help. One of my favorite ways to live my faith is to try my hardest to always be kind to everyone around me all the time- to truly try to be like Jesus. I am certainly not perfect at it all the time but I am trying my hardest.

What will the Mormon missionaries talk about when they visit my home?

Charisse
They will share a message of Jesus Christ and the great love he has for everyone of us. Show more Show less

Do you really believe there is a prophet like Moses alive today?

Charisse
Yes I do, Why would a God who talked to his people stop talking? I believe he would not, and I know there is so much more he wants us to know. Show more Show less
