Hi I'm David

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a physician specializing in anatomic and clinical pathology with additional training as a cytopathologist. I have been blessed with a beautiful wife and four wonderful children. My formative years were spent in the frozen territory of northern Wisconsin. I am a Brigham Young University alum with a degree in Microbiology. I love playing recreation league ice hockey and watching NHL hockey along with any BYU sporting events with special interest in the basketball and volleyball teams.

Why I am a Mormon

My father is a convert to the LDS church. I was raised LDS. However, I still had to figure it out for myself. I have tested all the gospel principles, prayed to my Father in Heaven to know the truthfulness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and have been greatlly blessed in my life. I am by no means perfect but I do strive to do what is right and do my best.

How I live my faith

Currently I serve as Bishop of our neighborhood congregation. I have enjoyed serving as a home teacher since I was 10 years old even though you should only begin at age 14. I have been grateful to my Dad that he instilled in me this aspect of serving others. I have also enjoyed serving in our young men's programs at various times including Webelos cub scout leader and boy scout leader. I have also had opportunities to serve as an instructor and leader of our local church adult men's groups.
