Hi I'm Eric

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Eric. I am a thankful husband who is blessed with a talented, intelligent and beautiful wife who loves me despite all of my imperfections. I am a fortunate father with 5 awesome children who appreciate me, despite of my faults. I am a grateful grandpa with 8 wonderful grandchildren who care about me and I wish I had more time to spend with them. I am blessed with work in the construction and mining industry and I try to provide a valuable contribution to my talented team of co-workers to make their job easier. I love to golf when I get the chance. I am a Mormon and I love the gospel of Jesus Christ and try to live like my Savior would each and every day.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised as a Methodist and I respect all religions for the good things they do and how they help our friends and neighbors draw closer to our Savior Jesus Christ. I joined The Church of Jesus Christ at the age of 19 and served a 2-year mission when I was 21 because I found a fullness of truth, goodness and peace of mind in a religion that has brought me closer to Christ than any other that I have found in my 64 years of life on this beautiful world that we live in. I believe the Bible to be the Word of God, as far as it is translated correctly. I also believe the Book of Mormon to be the Word of God. I also believe that God continues to guide His children today through a living Prophet, just as He did in ancient times.

How I live my faith

I really enjoy serving in our community as often as I can. I love to visit with our good neighbors and try to support to each one of them to best of my abilities. Neighborhood activities, such as barbecues, homemade scones, ice-cream floats for our neighborhood watch meetings, serving in scouts, and neighborhood clean up activities are all part of the enjoyment of living in our fantastic neighborhood.
