Hi I'm Brandon

I grew up in Colorado. Im going to Nursing school and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I like to go camping, hiking, fishing, hunting, water skiing, snow boarding, 4x4 wheeling, going on walks, play volleyball, soccer, softball, football, racket ball, mountain biking, hangout with my family and friends. I am currently going to Arapahoe Community College, I am doing my generals before I transfer to another school for Nursing. I have been home for a year now after serving a 2 year mission in Switzerland.

Why I am a Mormon

It all stated when I was in high school, I've grew up in the Mormon faith all of my life but I fully received testimony of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints being right for me was during my high school time. I was in a rough stop on doing things that I should not do. My life was turning upside down. Then one night I wanted to end my life. I sat in my room writing a letter to my parents and three sisters about how I loved them, and thanked them for being there for me. When I ended my letter, I had a feeling in my gut to kneel down and pray one more time to see if my life was important. I didn't get voice telling me that my life was important, but a happy or uplifting feeling in my gut that I had a purpose for this life and that I was important in this life. That prayer was enough to give me a reason to live on with my life and repent of some things that I was not happy about. I felt better after that prayer and have a firm testimony that prayers are answered, that god lives and cares for each and one of us. Jesus Christ is our guide and light back to god. We can all return to him some day no matter who we are. He loves all of us.

How I live my faith

I help out around my neighborhood by helping those that are moving in or out of the street, mowing lawns, or even just making some food like cookies, and bread to neighbors. I am Family Home Evening Co-chairmen of the Sand Creek Ward it mainly a evening where families get together one night during the week to have a small lesson on any gospel topic, snacks and then a fun activity to end it al but for me its with 50 to 60 other young single adults who don't live with their parents. I help plan Monday evening with 9 other people from the ward to share a brief message from the gospel of christ, have others the opportunity to share their conversion story on how they joined the Mormon church and last we end by having a fun activity to end the evening for example 55 of us young single adults went to "Jump Street" for an hour to just enjoy each others company and to have fun.
