Hi I'm Brook

I grew up in beautiful Colorado, and have a family full of my best friends. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love anything to do with the human body and how to keep it healthy and strong. I love teaching and working with athletes, and being an athlete myself.

Why I am a Mormon

Being a Mormon is not just having a label. It is who you are. It means I do my very best evey day to do what I believe is right, though I'm not always perfect. We do this by living the gospel of Jesus Christ. Everything about the gospel of our Savior is not only true, it is all GOOD! It is perfect. In a world full of confused morals and especially misrepresented women, it is comforting and empowering to know what IS 100% correct, and will NEVER lead us down a path of misery or hopelessness. It is a perfect gospel designed by our loving Father in Heaven, and it is available to absolutely EVERYONE who desires it, because He loves each of us individually and perfectly, and desires nothing more than the success and happiness of His children.

How I live my faith

Jesus Christ has provided us with the perfect example of how to live our lives. Even though these times are uncertain, and we can never predict what the future holds, we can live each day with sincere happiness and a calm confidence, knowing that as long as we are doing what He has asked us to do, everything will work out for our good. Our Savior actually gave us a commandment to love each other. Though I am still too often imperfect in my efforts, each day I try to be aware of those individuals who cross my path that could use a helping hand, a listening ear, or just a friend to sit by. I know that as we look outside ourselves, our own lives are enriched, and that this is how our Heavenly Father most often answers His children's prayers.
