Hi I'm Keith

I attend BYU-Idaho, I love to play basketball, to Extreme Pogo stick and & I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college student studying computer science! I love to play basketball and other sports! I just returned from my mission that i served in Alaska. I enjoy doing outdoor activities like floating down the river, hiking, biking, and fishing. I am from Ohio so I love football its who I am.

Why I am a Mormon

I was introduced to the church by a friend who wanted to share this amazing gospel with me but at first i was very resistant! There was something different about this person she always was happy and energetic and full of life! I did not understand how or why in a world of such hatred and despair someone could be so happy all the time! We dated and i learned more and more about the Church and was still attending my old church which i grew up in! While i was "investigating" the Church my old church told me things about the Mormons that really upset me! I was stuck in the middle of two churches that were both trying to help me! talk about feeling pressured! So finally i had enough and i decided to stop going to both churches! I stopped seeing the girl who was only trying to help and decided to just step back and really look at what was going on! for a month i read and prayed about The Book of Mormon and i felt like i had not received an answer! so then i decided to really and truly give it a try with a sincere and open heart! i started to see the girl again and told her that i wanted to learn more and didn't want to be pressured! i attended Seminary and take the discussions with the missionaries! i soon found out that The Book of Mormon was true and i knew it and i knew that God knew it and i would not deny it! I was then baptised on October 25th 2009! i am now serving a mission for the Lord in Alaska and don't want to be anywhere else!

How I live my faith

When the savior died for us on the cross at Calvary and then rose again from the tomb he opened a door for us to be able to walk the higher path in life. To die for someone you love is a huge step that most of us would do for someone we love a child, parent, brother, sister or even a friend. When I think of dying for someone I love I think that it is a big decision but once it is done it is over and that it. I think it is much harder to live for someone or something that we believe in. When we accept the Savior's grace He has so freely offered us we covenant that we will give our lives to him and live for him, that we will walk the higher road and path in life and try and serve others. I am trying to walk that path in life and trying to draw closer to my Savior while doing that. I try my best to be patient with myself and with others and serve them and help in any way I can, I am not perfect for now and that ok but with the Savior's help and a lot of effort I hope to return to live with him one day!
