Hi I'm Sarah

I'm a Mormon. I have four children. I'm a sports enthusiast and I teach piano.

About Me

I am a wife and mother. I am a piano teacher. I am a sports enthusiast.

Why I am a Mormon

There are many reasons I choose to be Mormon. I was born and raised in a Mormon home. Both my parents were raised Mormon. So maybe you can say that I never knew any different. But more importantly, I choose to be a Mormon because I have found that the Mormon way of life is the happiest way to live. When I follow God's commandments and do what the church leaders ask of me, I have peace and security in my life. God wants us to be happy and He wants to bless us. Blessings come through obedience to His commandments. It's a simple equation: learning the commandments plus obeying the commandments equals blessings. Yes, there are those times in life that bring sadness and heartache, but because of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, I have the faith and hope that those times will pass and that all will be well if I continue to love and obey God.

How I live my faith

I love how the Mormon church is organized and run. Everyone has a responsibility, whether it's just as simple as showing up to church on Sunday and giving a warm smile. I have served in many of the organizations as a leader and as a teacher. Serving in different callings requires time and effort, but the rewards and blessings are immeasurable. I've been able to develop talents and qualities that I didn't even know I had. I've always been quiet and shy, but when you have to teach a lesson or lead a meeting in front of a large group of people, it forces you to get outside your comfort zone. And pretty soon, something you thought was a weakness, now is a strength. Through serving in the Mormon church I have made many friends, friends who have the same standards as I do. It's easy to do what's right when you know others are trying hard to do the same. Friends are a great support as we're trying to raise our children with the right morals and values.
