Hi I'm Pamela Mills

I'm a wife, I'm a mother, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife and a mother! I have three wonderful children and most days we get along great. I am grateful that I have the opportunity to stay at home and be a home maker, or as I and my friends like to say "domestic engineers". It is hard work but sombody has to do it. Before I had children and when my oldest was very young I worked as a dental assistant and a dental office manager. I have a passion for numbers and figuring out problems. My favorite part about that career was working with people and doing everything that I could to make there dental experience better. I enjoy doing many things outside such as boating and snow skiing. One of my favorite things to do is travel and see new things. Even with three children we work hard to visit new places and experiance new things.

Why I am a Mormon

The first answer to this question is, my parents raised me that way. I grew up in a mormon family that worked hard together and played hard together. I was blessed to live in a happy home where I knew that I was loved and I was taught the pricipales of the gospel at a young age. The second answer to that question is I choose to be a mormon because I know that this is the true church on the earth today. I know that Heavenly father and Jesus Christ care about me and know me personaly. I have seen miracles in my life and I have felt the love of my savior Jesus Christ wrap around me and comfort me in times of need. I have read the Book of Mormon and know that it is from God. I was blessed to have experiences growing up that taught me that there is a father in heaven and that he really does care about me. I have experienced some horrible heart aches in my life the most prominent being the loss of a brother. My brother passed away when he was 27 years old. He was married and had a son that at the time was 1 1/2. It was a devistating blow to our family and his little family. During that time I was so blessed to be surounded by supportive people, but I also had all the thoughts of why did this have to happen. Why now? Why him? A few years after his accident my whole family, including his wife and son were in the mountains camping and four-wheeling together. His wife and son went up the mountain and on one particular turn on the trail she lost contral of the four-wheeler and the machine went of the side, and at the precise spot that she went off there was a lone tree sitting there waiting to hold her up. They were safe, and we felt it was nothing short of a miricale. My family was reminded that day that heavenly father is in control. We have our agency to choose but our father in heaven can reach down and save us if need be. We don't know why he does this with some and not with others but then we don't really see the whole picture of eternity.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing the best that I can each day. I teach my children that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love them and all people on this earth and then we serve others while keeping in mind that knowledge. I have served in various areas in our church, I have planned parties and service projects for members in my area to participate in and currently teach some of the childrens classes on sunday. I enjoy teaching children and enjoy the challenge of keeping them focused on the subject each week.
