Hi I'm Sarah

I am a wife with four children, trying to do the best I can to make the world a better place. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My life is centered around my family, my church, my friends and my town. I love living in a small town where I feel a sense of community. I am very active, both in the church and at my childrens' school. I have served as the PTO president fo 4 years, which allows me to meet many different people from different backgrounds, but with one common interest: our children and their education! I love having friends, talking, playing, and planning all sorts of activities! My passion is organizing and dejunking. Friends ask me to come and help them get their homes in order and I answer the call! I love getting rid of "stuff" and making a home clean and clutter-free.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the only true church on the earth. Plain and simple. I have prayed and studied and recieved numerous answers from a loving Heavenly Father, confirming to me the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon and the restoration of the Church through the prophet Joseph Smith. There is not a doubt in my mind or heart that this church is organized and led by Jesus Christ. I have dedicated my life to living His gospel and sharing it with others. That gospel message is that Christ lives today and that he has called living prophets to restore the fullness of truth in a world of uncertainty and confusion. His priesthood power has also been restored to worthy men, the power to perform the saving ordinances required to return to our Heavenly Father's presence. The good news is that Jesus Christ has atoned for our sins so that we may sincerely repent and be forgiven. Being a Mormon means patterning my life after the Savior and loving and serving my fellow man as He did. I am proud to be a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving as the Adult Sunday School teacher in our ward. Most people feel sorry for me, but I cannot imagine a better calling in the church. If you could only have only church calling for your entire life, I would choose this one. Why? I love to study the scriptures, but can always find an excuse not to. Teaching Sunday School gives me a good reason to make the time. I learn so much from the scriptures and from the members in class as they share their ideas, experiences, thoughts, and testimonies. Another way I live my faith is by supporting my husband as our Ward Bishop. When he is not working, he is usually serving at the church or visiting members of our ward in need. I try hard to make his job easier by making sure the time he is at home is less stressful. I often go with him to make visits to the sick or lonely. His service is a great blessing in our lives!
