Hi I'm Greg

I am a happily married father of four. I am a sports enthusiast. I serve in the U.S. Armed Forces. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am an avid sports fan and love to play basketball, football, and golf. I love spending time with my four children who bring so much joy and laughter to my life. I studied geography in college because it was the subject I was most passionate about; this world we live in is so interesting!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I found truth in the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. Living the principles taught in the LDS church has brought me peace and joy that I never knew before. The world we live in is complex, especially when it comes to things spiritual, and many are confused. The answers that I have found to spiritual questions because of the restoration of Christ's church by Joseph Smith give me comfort and confidence in an uncertain world.

How I live my faith

I try to serve others and be kind to everyone around me. My Savior Jesus Christ has done so much for me, so in turn I try to become more like him.

Why is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints called Mormons or Mormonism?

The scriptures translated by Joseph Smith are called the Book of Mormon, named after Mormon who compiled them. People now call us Mormons because we believe in the teachings of this book. We are also called Latter-day Saints or LDS, because the proper name of our church is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Show more Show less
