Hi I'm Nicole

I'm a wife and mother. I love to read and to work out. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My husband and I are the proud parents of a new born boy. I'm grateful that while my husband goes to work, I can stay home and care for our little guy. Since I was a small girl, I knew I wanted to be a teacher. I have a bachelors degree in Elementary Education with an emphasis in English as a Second Language. (However, I speak only one language, English). I know that my degree will help me be a better mom and maybe someday I'll go back and teach in the classroom. I love books and would spend my days reading if I could. I also love to exercise. Running, hiking, skiing, and just being active and outside helps me feel refreshed, happy, and healthy. I also love to travel and explore. Throughout my youth, I had great opportunities to travel around the United States and take a few adventures to Europe, Mexico, and Canada. I love to experience new cultures and foods.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents raised me in the LDS religion and even as a child, I found so much joy in going to church and in reading the scriptures. All throughout my life I have felt the Spirit repeatedly testify to my heart and mind that this church is the true church of Christ restored to the earth through the prophet Joseph Smith and that he translated the Book of Mormon as another testament of Jesus Christ. I feel incredible strength and reassurance knowing that as I follow the teachings of the gospel, I am lead by a modern day prophet who holds the priesthood and receives revelation from God.

How I live my faith

I regularly read and study from the scriptures and communicate with my Heavenly Father through prayer. Also, I have the great opportunity to work with and teach the young women in our congregation each week. Together, we learn of the gospel and build our testimonies of Christ as we do service for others and set goals to improve ourselves, strengthen our homes and families, and encourage our friends along the way.
