Hi I'm Tom

I grew up by Seattle, Washington. I am a college student with a major in exercise science.I love to play sports and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am in my early twenties and I am currently a junior in college. I have lived my whole life in a small city near Seattle. I am an easy going guy who loves have fun. I love to play most sports. I usually play basketball, football, or baseball.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because I have found out for myself that this is the true church of Christ here on earth. I was taken to the mormon church since I was a born by my parents but I have studied for myself to find out that it is true. It brings me so much joy to have this testimony of Christ and of His restored gospel. It has helped me make decisions in my life that have brought me much happiness. One thing that we as a church stress a lot is the importance of family. Having a great relationship with family members is so important.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by living the high standards that are set by our leaders and Christ himself since he is the real leader of this church. I avoid alcohol, tobacco, and any other substances that harm my health. I also don't drink coffee or tea. I also live a chaste life by abstaining from sexual relations until marriage. Living these high standards may sound very restricting to someone who is not familiar to them, but I have learned throughout the years that they have really freed me from problems that I have seen my close friends have because of these very things.

What is the Mormon lifestyle like? How do Mormons live?

Tom
For the most part we live a normal life. The biggest difference I would say is that we stay clear of alcohol and drugs. We also believe that sexual relations are to be saved for marriage between a man and a woman. I strive to live our lives in a way that would please God and HIs son Jesus Christ. Show more Show less
