Hi I'm Rich

" I grew up in Arizona.I served a Mission in Denmark. My wife and I are adoptive parents. I'm a Mormon."

About Me

I served a 2 year mission to Denmark.I had many wonderful experiences. I was able see places my ancestors lived. I am a father of 9 children. The last 4 we adopted. It has been a wonderful blessing for my wife and I. I love any kind of sporting activity. I have been involved with the Boy Scouts of America over the last 20 years. I also spent many years as a high school basketball referee. I love being with my family and spending time with them.

Why I am a Mormon

is because of the family beliefs and values I grew up with as a child. I am thankful that the teachings that our religion is based on is the family. I am grateful for the scriptures and how it helps my be a better father and husband. I am thankful for the knowledge I have of a living Prophet here on earth. I am grateful for the relationship I have with my Heavenly Father and his Son Jesus Christ. It really helps me understand that I am truly a child of God.

How I live my faith

is that each month I have the opportunity to visit families in my ward and teach them and help them with the challenges they face. I am also blessed by those helping me with my challenges in life with my family. I try as much as I can to give back through service to others. That service has been in helping those who are less fortunate. I have spent time working as a volunteer on church farms and canneries to help provide food for those who are struggling. I have helped young boys progress in the scouting program.
