Hi I'm Christina

I'm a working, busy mom. I am grateful for the Lord who strengthens me to keep going in these difficult times.

About Me

I am a high school English teacher. I WAS before I got laid off, but still relate to that career. I became a teacher because I love to read and write. Mostly, I like to think that I can change lives and help others. I hope to write a book someday. Right now, I'm busy working three jobs and raising four kids to do what I enjoy. Someday. I have two boys and two girls who are everything to me. It's hard work to raise kids in today's world, but I really do my best. I love the beach. The ocean fills my soul and all of my senses. I love it!

Why I am a Mormon

My parents converted when I turned eight. We got baptized together, but I didn't understand what was going on. As a teenager, I became inactive for many years. I went back a couple times, but I didn't truly convert until I was in my 30s. Once you have kids, you realize what's really important in life. I grew up not feeling loved by my parents. I was mistreated and was unloved and unwanted. Everything was against me. Because I found Christ, I realized that I was never alone. That I WAS loved. That I had a Heavenly Father who loves me and a brother who gave His life for me. I'm a Mormon because it is the true church of our Savior. He has established it here on Earth for us! It's awesome!

How I live my faith

I live my faith through example. I think it's important to act in a way that others can see the light of Christ through my actions. I don't preach my beliefs through my words as much as my actions. I try to go out of my way to help others in need. I seek opportunities to serve others. Even though I'm so busy, the Lord always finds a way to make time for His work. I especially love working with the young men and young women in the church. They are so learned in the Gospel of Christ. They are an example to me!
