Hi I'm Bronson

I was diagnosed with narcolepsy at age 8 and I am a Mormon

About Me

I grew up in a family of 5 as the middle child. Everyone always asks me if I feel like I am the lost child, I never felt lost but i guess I wouldn't know any different. As at the age of 8 i was diagnosed with a sleeping disorder called narcolepsy. In high school I swam on the swim team and played Lacrosse, but my favorite sport to play is basketball even though i am not super good. I served a mission in Seattle, Washington. At college plan to study engineering with a focus on industrial design, with a goal to one day live in a house on a hill with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I love being a MORMON! It brings a since of belonging in a world where it is so easy to get lost. My church family is world wide and i am united with brothers and sisters across the world in belief, lifestyle and goals. I always have someone to support me and others who need my support. Being a mormon keeps my life in balance and my relationship with God strong.

How I live my faith

As I live my faith it brings new challenges everyday that I get to learn how to overcome. Nothing good comes easy in life, it isn't easy to wake up at 9:00am for church on sunday but the blessing that come are what keep me pressing forward. I live my faith day by day reading my scriptures and praying to keep me strong. Currently I am serving a mission in Seattle where i go around teaching people about how the gospel has been restored through a living prophet. I had to leave my family, friends, hobbies and career behind to come out and serve the Lord. But It has been the greatest experience of my life, it has taught me that the greatest moments in life come when were are more concerned about the welfare of other than ourselves.

Why do Mormons baptize their new members?

Bronson
When you are baptized you covenant or make a 2 way promise with God. We promise to keep God's commandments, take Christ name upon us and to always remember him. Baptism is a witness before God that you are entering into this covenant and then He forgives you for all your sins and you receive the Gift of the Holy Ghost by the laying on of hands. Baptism is a new begining which allows us to start fresh and a rebirth into Christ's church and family. Your name is taken at baptism so that you will always be remembered, never to be lost. Christ numbers all his sheep and when you are baptized you enter into his fold. Show more Show less
