Hi I'm Nate

Taco Bell=Heaven, I'm from the dirty-dirty, I served a mission for Christ in Arizona, I believe in laziness, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born on the West coast and raised on the East Coast. I've lived in California, Texas, South Carolina, Utah, and Arizona. I'd tell you that I'm from South Carolina "the dirty-dirty" because that's where I spent my teenage years, but I don't even have an accent (disappointing, I know). Currently, I'm living here in and I spend most of my time working and trying to figure out what to do with my life. I'm from the small town of Lugoff. I've never met someone outside of South Carolina who'd heard of it. In fact, it's very surprising to find someone from South Carolina who's heard of it. We got our first Taco Bell a couple years ago, it was a momentous occasion, especially for me. I love many things. Taco Bell is one of those things. If you ever want T-bell and need someone to come with, I'm always down. Dr. Pepper is also one of those things (Mountain Dew pulls a close second). But enough about worldly things. I love my family and my friends, I try to get along with everyone so I enjoy many activities. I'm incredibly passionate about sports (Go Gamecocks!), I love a good book, I'm somewhat ashamed to admit that I love video games, and a good game of basketball means the world to me. I did a year at BYU before the mission. Some may consider me the stereotypical mormon for it, but I'm a wolf in sheeps clothing. I pull for the Utes all day long. I love to laugh, I believe that life is to be enjoyed, Mormons rock and you should be one too!

Why I am a Mormon

Cuz it's awesome! Although I was born into the Mormon church, the reason I am still living the faith goes much deeper than that. My parents raised me with much love and taught me all about Jesus Christ and his gospel, however, there came a point when I questioned what I had been taught and desired to know the truth for myself. For much of my teenage life I was carefree and never gave much thought to the deeper questions of life, I simply took for granted what I had always learned. But eventually, through speaking with other people from a wide variety of backgrounds and beliefs, I began to question. The reason I am still Mormon today, and share my beliefs with everyone, is because I questioned and received an answer. It was through reading the Book of Mormon and praying to know the truth that I came to feel the power of this message. I know this is the truth, it has changed my life and outlook. Most importantly, it's brought me happiness. Why wouldn't you do something that makes you happy? I've seen this gospel change people's lives, I've seen it change my life. It brings happiness, comfort, and peace. If you don't believe me, check it out. I'll give you an advance warning though: you'll probably end up getting baptized and finding true happiness. Just sayin.

How I live my faith

Like a boss! There are many ways I live my faith. I served a mission in Phoenix, Arizona. Basically, I invited people to come unto Christ and become a part of HIS church. There's more to it than that, but that was the purpose my life was focused on. I recently returned from that mission and have returned to the more regular parts of life. School, work, family, etc. I now live my faith by continuing to follow the teachings of Christ's gospel. It affects the way I behave, live, and interact with others. Did I mention that it also makes me happy? I am not special or unique in the way I live my faith. Anyone can follow the teachings of Christ, it just requires a choice. You should make that choice, it'll rock your world!
