Hi I'm Heather

I love sunflowers. I want to live my life to the fullest. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college kid, from a small town, living 1,200 miles away from "home". I enjoy any type of sports, and I'm really not good at any of them. But I love them still. I usually live with 6 other girls in a 3 bedroom apartment. I have been blessed with having such wonderful roommates. Past and Present. I'm a photographer, but I don't like to talk about it because it seems as if everyone is into photography now. My favorite thing to do almost any given day is to Country Swing dance. Look it up. It's crazy, and so much fun!

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up with the gospel in my life, though I was born out of wedlock. My mother decided she wanted a better life for me than she had, turned her life around, got baptized, moved away from her home town, found her husband and married in the Chicago Temple in 1994. In July '95 I was sealed to my mother and my father for time and all eternity. I now have 5 brothers and one little sister who looks up to me very much. Knowing that I will be with my family after this life is very comforting. I have a deep love for the gospel, after falling away a few times, I have a deep knowledge that our Heavenly Father and Jesus both have a deep and great love for us, and only want the best for any of us. I know God exists. I want everyone to know the love He has for us. Jesus died not just for me, but you as well. I know this. I have prayed and asked about it. It is true. I hope one day to be married to my husband in the temple for Time and all eternity. That time finally came March 15th, 2013 my husband (Matt) and I were married for Time and all eternity. It was truly the best day ever.

How I live my faith

I attend church and partake of the sacrament every week. I am currently in charge of visiting teaching when I help look after the ladies in my area, I set up partners to go and talk with the other ladies to make sure they are doing good and then report back to me. I also help my friends with planning and preparing activities for the people of our faith around us. But for me the most important thing(s) I do are reading my scriptures, daily, praying morning and night, and last setting a good example for those around me.
