Hi I'm Jennifer

I grew up in Houston. My best friend shared the restored Gospel with me. And now I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife and mother. I enjoy working out and discovering new ways to eat healthy.I love to do crafty things. I love to read books. I am looking forward to going back to school. I look forward to traveling with my husband when our children have left the nest.

Why I am a Mormon

I joined the church my senior year of high school. My best friend growing up invited my to participate in activities at the LDS church during my adolescent years. I felt such love and acceptance from the people I met. One day I felt a desire to know more about the church I had been attending. A couple of missionaries taught me the gospel and I made the best decision of my life to join the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I love learning more about my purpose in this mortal life. I love to serve others, those who share my faith as well as those who do not. It brings much joy to my life to help Heavenly Fathers children.I have a testimony of the Gospel I love. I know my Savior lives. I know he loves us each as individuals. He knows our needs and our pains. He is there to help us through it all if we ask him in sincere prayer. I know Heavenly Father has a plan for each of us specific to what we are to do while we are here in this mortal life. I know if we do our best and keep his commandments he will help us with the rest. I love this gospel and the knowledge and peace it brings to my life.

How I live my faith

I have a great opportunity to serve the women in the church. I have an opportunity to help them by teaching them lessons from the gospel each month using the scriptures and church magazine articles. I also have an opportunity to serve a smaller group of women, I am assigned to, on an individual basis. Each month I visit with them in their homes. I teach them and care for them. I offer to serve them in any way they may need my help.
