Hi I'm Donna Mercer

I'm a Mormon. My faith and testimony guides me each and every day as I strive to be a good mother and person in the community.

About Me

I am a mother of 5 children ages 6-17 yrs. I have been married to my sweetheart for 21 years now. We met at college. I grew up in Washington State but have lived in Colorado for the past 20 years. I have embraced an active lifestyle that includes running, biking, and swimming. I have raced in several triathlons and running races. I love to be outdoors.

Why I am a Mormon

I love being a Mormon because I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints contains the restored gospel of Jesus Christ in its fullness. I grew up as an active member of this church and have remained active because I love the gospel. My personal relationship with my Savior gives meaning and happiness to my life. I have a deep understanding of where I lived before my earth life, why I am here now, and where I am going.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through service in the church. I currently serve as an Assistant Director for Girl's Camp. I have the responsibility to help plan a 4 day camp for all LDS girls in our area. That involves about 120-150 girls. It is a lot of fun to be involved with the youth and help them have spiritual experiences that will help their testimonies grow as well as strengthen their relationship with their Savior. All work is voluntary. I feel privileged to be able to serve the Lord and build His kingdom.
