Hi I'm Steve

I live in Washington State, am a software engineer, a father of 4, have been married for 30 years, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Northwest Washington State. I have a degree in music production and engineering and love recording my son's band in our little digital studio. I make a living as a software engineer and have worked for the same company for the last 27 years. I love to garden and work in my yard, and take pride in my home and gardens. I have been married for 30 years and I love my wife and best friend dearly. I have 3 daughters and 1 son. My oldest daughter is married and has 2 daughters of her own and about to deliver twin boys any day now. I love my my children and grandchildren. I love to run, play basketball, mountain bike, and do other outdoor activities.

Why I am a Mormon

I know that I have a Heavenly Father and that he has a plan for his children here on the earth. He has not left us alone and wants us to be happy, regardless of our worldly circumstances. He wants to hear from us through prayer and I know that he will bless us in so many ways when we try our hardest to keep the commandments and help others around us. I find confidence and joy in the Gospel of Jesus Christ because I know that its whole purpose is to provide experiences in this life that will bring us joy and help us return to live with our Heavenly Father someday for eternity. I look forward to that glorious reunion.

How I live my faith

I love working with the youth in our church and helping them navigate through life's challenges. We were not meant to coast through life without problems, but Heavenly Father has provided a path and a plan that will help us overcome all obstacles. I want others to have the same kind of joy and happiness that I have. They need to know that they are not alone and that no matter what problems they have, there is a solution and a loving God that can help them figure out that solution. It gives me tremendous joy to see young people and old people alike come to a knowledge of their loving Heavenly Father and his loving son Jesus Christ.
