Hi I'm John H Motsch

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a retired logistician and program manager and used to work for the US Air Force as a civilian. I'm also retired from the US Air Force Reserve as a flight engineer and flew as a crew member on C-130 and C-5 aircraft. I enjoy RV traveling with my wife anywhere in the US. I consider myself a people person and enjoy meeting and talking to people from diverse backgrounds wherever I travel.

Why I am a Mormon

I had always been searching for the truth in the gospel and had grown up attending a a religious elementary and High School. The religion I had grown up with never seemed to satisfy my desire for truth. I searched through many religions for comfort and peace. I always had a belief in God the Father and in his son Jesus. I just did not seem to find that peace and comfort in the ones I investigated. One day my wife asked if I would alow my family to have misionaries come over and visit in our home. I told her that would be alright but I was not interested. The missionaries came and to my wife's surprise I engaged them in conversation and began to study the Book of Mormon. I was challedged by the missionaries to pray to God and ask if what I read was true. I took the challenge and was rewarded with a feeling inside my core being that the Book of Morman was true and that the Church is true. My family and I asked to be baptised and I have been a member with a burning testimony of the truth ever since.

How I live my faith

I help the High Priest Group leader in my ward by working as a secretary to the High Priest Group and perform work as an ordinance worker in the Temple. I find the service to rewarding and stimulating to give service to God and other members of the Church.
