Hi I'm Travis

I'm a Mormon, I am a Professional Sales Rep and I have strong Family Values.

About Me

I am a Husband and a Father. I graduated from College in Utah and have been in Professional Sales for about 10 years. I have lived in Utah, Ohio, Kentucky and have been in Texas for over a year now. I enjoy the outdoors, movies, dates with my wife, hanging out with the family, golf and working out when I have time. I am just like anybody else in that I enjoy life and work to provide for my family and even struggle at times but over all I look at life with a positive attitude and people know me for being a bit of a jokester sometimes.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the gospel of Jesus Christ and when I graduated High School where I thought I was really "cool", I decided to grow up and see what life was really about. In doing that I was humbled and learned the importance of responsibility, humility and integrity. I served a 26 month proselyting mission for the LDS Church and loved every minute of it. I learned fluent Spanish along the way and life long lessons that I will never forget. I love life and what Jesus Christ has done for me is priceless in paying for my sins. He is my Savior, Brother and Friend, I will trust him and not be afraid of any obstacle in my path with him on my side. It is not easy to keep faith in God in all we do every minute of each day but I believe in trying my best and working diligently in showing my faith in the Lord and trusting that everything else is second to that. I love the Gospel of Jesus Christ and freely share it with others as it is what makes me and my family who we are. I believe we are all equal in God's Eyes and he loves each of us regardless of our beliefs but his goal is to bring eternal life and salvation to each and every one of his Children through His teaching and His only Begotten son. I have a foundation and root no matter where I go or live in this world in God's Church. That is why I am a Mormon, because being so has taught me these important principals and I know the Church is True!

How I live my faith

I live my life in faith and reality. I participate in my church callings as a volunteer leader (Server) among my age group between 19 and 50 or so. I help to organize activities, I go on weekly visits to other members (both active and not active) of the Church as a part of my leadership calling to try and fellowship and bring the spirit of Christ into their homes through a prayer, spiritual message and getting to know them. I enjoy service in and out of the Church and if I did not have to work to provide for a living then I would serve my friends and family through whatever means if it were possible instead.

What are Mormon church services like? Are visitors allowed at church meetings? Can I attend church?

Travis
Meetings are spiritual but also pretty laid back and not intimidating to visitors. You are always welcome! Show more Show less
