Hi I'm Tom Benzon

I'm a father of two, enjoy the outdoors, work as a Consultant with the Department of Justice and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love my family, friends, college football, river rafting, and road biking pretty much in that order. As a government consultant, I provide business development and program management support for a multiple IT contracts my firm has supporting the Justice Department.

Why I am a Mormon

I belong to this church for a host of reasons, but first and foremost because I want to raise my family with values and in a faith founded upon the teachings and gospel of Jesus Christ. I love my Mormon faith, it not only helps me strive to be a better husband and father but also a better citizen and person in my community. As a Mormon, I've learned to accept and appreciate others for who they are. I'm grateful for the sublime knowledge and understanding of knowing I have a father in heaven who loves and accepts me for who I am as well as helps me overcome my shortcomings and limitations.

How I live my faith

The church has given multiple opportunities to serve others in my community as well as a two year mission in Barranquilla Colombia with others not of my faith. As we have no paid clergy, I have had the blessing and opportunity to provide service in multiple capacity's ranging from being a missionary, teaching youth ages 12-18 as well as teaching and learning with other fathers and husbands on how to best apply the gospel of Jesus Christ in our own dynamic lives.
