Hi I'm Karen

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a homemaker. I am a mother of one, step-mother of 4, and grandmother of 14. All of our children are married and, in my opinion, live entirely too far away. My wonderful husband and I have been married for 25 years. I enjoy doing all kinds of crafts like needlepoint, sewing, painting, etc. I often make homemade gifts for Christmas. I enjoy cooking and baking, and love to share my tasty, and sometimes not so tasty, creations with family and friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church. My parents have always been wonderful examples to me and taught me about unconditional love and the love of the savior. I have always believed in the gospel and have a testimony of the truthfulness of it. While it's not always easy to do the right thing, I know that I am a happier and better person because I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

How I live my faith

I am on a committee that plans one night a month for the women in my ward to get together and learn homemaking skills, to be self-reliant, and to do all kinds of service projects. I work 2 days a week serving in the temple, and I love every minute of it. I know that I am a daughter of God and I do my best to live the gospel and be the kind of person He wants me to be.
