Hi I'm Tiffany

I love to color. I'm allergic to cinnamon. I love architecture, rocky road ice cream and I've never been to Boston in the fall.

About Me

I am very friendly and outgoing. I love people. I come from a large family and my siblings all have very different personalities. I have just recently come to understand how great of an impact my family has had on my life. I love them so much and it has helped me to love others and treat others as I would want people to treat my family. I like to keep busy. I work full time and go to school full time. I am currently finishing up my final year in the Design Studies program. People often ask me what kind of design I am in, to which I reply, “I literally just study design.” I love learning about art history, color theory, font types, communication, landscapes, paintings and architecture. I am also very involved in church activities. The gospel is the most important thing in my life and I have a strong testimony and a close relationship to my Heavenly Father.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in a Mormon family, so the teachings of the gospel were instilled in me at a very young age. When I turned 18, I stopped going to church. It wasn't because I stopped believing that it was true, I just thought that other things were more important, or more entertaining than going to church. Sometimes it's hard to live up to the standards. Sometimes I wonder what my life would be like if I didn't know about the prophet or the Book of Mormon, but I do, and it's true. It's all true.

How I live my faith

I read my scriptures every day. In the beginning, I was trying to find a way to regain my spiritual strength. I started attending my ward's institute class. On one of the first nights I attended, my instructor read this quote from Ezra Taft Benson: "There is a power in the book which will begin to flow into your lives the moment you begin a serious study of the book. You will find greater power to resist temptation. You will find the power to avoid deception. You will find the power to stay on the straight and narrow path." I can't explain the peace and comfort that I find when I read the Book of Mormon. I don't really think that there are any words to describe it, you need to feel it for yourself. Take the time to read it. It is worth it.
