Hi I'm Josh

I'm a Mormon and proud of it!!!

About Me

I am 23 years old, and currently starting school. I am the oldest of 4 kids and love sports and all thigs related to it, I am a self-proclaimed Super Hero fan and I also love hanging out with friends and being outdoors! I enjoy a good ball game and of course the sound of squeking rubber on the basketball court. Anything that is fun, I am there!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church and wouldn't change it for anything! The values have set the foundation of the rest of my life. Being a member of Christ's church is at the very center of my life! It defines who I am and who I want to become! I have seen his gospel change peoples lives for the better time and time again! I have seen it fill all voids in ones life. Having been able to serve our Lord full time has opened my eyes to how he is the only one that can truely help each and everyone of us. He alone has gone where no mortal man could ever go, and has given each of us the greatest gift we could ever ask for! Ya it hasn't always been the easiest way of life but it has been worth every step. I have never felt happier or more complete in my life as I have as a member of his true church restored again!!!!

How I live my faith

I live my faith through the way I live my life. I always seek to follow the example of the Master. I seek to help lift and stregthen others of all ages, races, or groups, we are all God's children and deserve to be treated so! The best way I live my faith is serving others and serving our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! I believe that through loving others and serving them all that is bad in this world can be fixed. I seek to help teach others and help them strengthen their faith through ministering to them and being there to lend a listening ear. The best way to help others is through your example and actually "living" what you preach, while be accompanying and understanding of others and their point of view.

How can faith in Jesus Christ influence us in our marriages and family relationships? in our friendships?

Josh
When the principles of the Gospel are lived in ones life, that is Faith in Jesus Christ, Repentance, Baptism, Recieving the Gift of the Holy Ghost, and enduring to the end, ones life is blessed with peace and happiness and the constant companionship of the Holy Ghost, these things encourage us to be better people. The blessings of peace and happiness radiate from one and touch the hearts of others. The become as if they were the very fibers of their being! Show more Show less

Why don’t women hold the priesthood in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints? How do Mormon women lead in the Church?

Josh
It has been said that there is no greater call than motherhood, it transends the earthly and touches the divine. A mother is a divine call issued from a loving heavenly father. Motherhood is closest to godliness. Yes men may hold the priesthood but the whole role of the priesthood is to bless, uplift, and serve and inspire others. Husband and wife are co-equals, one cannot return to the presence of our Father in Heaven in the highest degree of glory without the other. Women bare children so the father in turn can use the priesthood to bless and inspire his family to return to Father in Heaven's presence, husband and wife are a team, designed to help each other and by working together enable God's greatest blessings to touch the life of their children. The priesthood is not to be used for selfish gain, it is used to bless and enrich the life of all! Show more Show less
