Hi I'm Mary

I'm a Mormon. I'm a wife and mother of four children. I am also "Nana" to seven cute grandchildren.

About Me

I grew up in a Mormon home and have pioneer ancestors who joined the church in England and made their way to Nauvoo and came across the plains in covered wagons. Some of my other ancestors came to this country on the Mayflower. I am grateful for my pioneer heritage and their desire to know and serve God.

Why I am a Mormon

I have always felt close to my Heavenly Father, but when I had children of my own, I knew I had to have my own personal witness the church was the restored gospel of Jesus Christ on the earth today. I clearly remember the day that prayer was answered. My testimony continues to grow. I know our Heavenly Father has a plan for us. I know that through the blessings of the covenants we make in the temple, we can be united as families for all eternity.

How I live my faith

Each day I thank my Heavenly Father for His goodness to me. I try to be the best example of a disciple of Christ that I can. I was privilegded to serve an eighteen month mission with my husband in southern Italy. I learned there how important it is to keep a journal and write down the "tender mercies" that the Lord gives to me. When I forget to write, I forget my blessings.
