Hi I'm Tara

I grew up on a ranch on the coast of California. I'm an Occupational therapist. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have lived in several states including New York, Oregon, Idaho, and California. I love the ocean, swimming, scrapbooking, photography and being outdoors. I recently graduated from college and will soon be starting my first job as a professional. I love working with children.

Why I am a Mormon

A few years ago I moved away from home and for the first time was living in a city where I didn't know anyone. I was a busy grad student and life seemed to be pulling me in many directions. As I chose to make the gospel a priority I was able to recognize how strongly I relied on the spirit and how all of the things that bring happiness into my life are connected to the gospel and living the principles contained there in. I choose to be a member of this church because I know Jesus Christ lives, this is his church! I learned this through prayer and the feelings of the spirit which always testifies of truth. I have seen how Prayer and reading the scriptures on a daily basis bring peace and joy into my life. We have a living prophet and apostles who receive revelation from our heavenly Father for our day!

How I live my faith

I am a member of a congregation of single people in my community. My assignment is to show love and caring for those in need. I have often felt love that the Lord has for his children as I reach out in friendship to those around me. I have enjoyed getting to know members of the community as our congregation has assisted in running community activities (such as carnivals & Easter egg hunts) for children and families.
