Hi I'm Lauren

I have a wonderful family. I am an avid reader. I enjoy homemaking crafts. I am learning Russian. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 23 years old. Married to a wonderful Russian man and we have a beautiful son. I am a stay at home mother. I enjoy reading fiction and historical novels. Before I became a full time mom I worked with little children. I love the sweet sprites that are in everyday lives. I love to travel. My favorite city is Kiev, Ukraine.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church. I took it for granted most of my life. Even though my mother tried to teach me what was right I fell away and gave little thought to God. I didn't become a bad person just a godless one. I found pieces missing from my life. A lack of direction, of hope, and peace. Coming back to the church I began to build my own testimony. Step by step I worked my way into becoming a better person. I found that I knew God lived. I was his heavenly daughter, a beloved daughter. I found great joy in living Gods commandments. when I became active again in the church my husband started going to church. Last year he was baptized. I have seen God work in my life, I have seen his blessing rain upon my family. I know that my father in heaven is there and that he loves me. I know that I can be with my family forever. I know that through prayer and the scriptures I can receive revelation. God provides a way for us to return to live with him. We all can do it if we choose.

How I live my faith

Right now I am teaching a class of 5 year old boys. There sweet spirits and smiling faces great me every Sunday as we sit down to lean about the gospel. Primary ( children's classes) are where we form the foundation for our faith in the church. It is an honor to help these boys start to build their testimony.
