Hi I'm Deborah

I am the mother of three boys and just starting the empty nest phase. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am married to a wonderful man and have three sons, two beautiful daughter-in-laws and one darling grandchild. I recently sent my youngest son off to serve a mission for our church. I am adjusting to an empty nest. I love walking in the cool of the morning and watching the sun set over the Rocky Mountains in the evening. I love swimming, especially outside. I also love singing. Now that I have more time, I tried out for the Colorado Mormon Chorale and was accepted. I am excited to sing more.

Why I am a Mormon

I’m a Mormon because I have prayed and asked God, “God are you there? Do you know me and do you care about me?” Peace fills my heart and I know that God exists. He knows and cares about me. I believe every person is a son or daughter of God. Being Mormon, gives me insight into why I am here on earth. It gives my life meaning, purpose and direction. If gives me hope for the future.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by treating each person with the kindness and respect I believe God would give each of us if He were present. Before entering a room or group of people, I pray to notice someone who needs a kind gesture or smile. I then search for that someone.
