Hi I'm Lista

About Me

My life is all about family. Our neighbors and friends call our home the "Family Annex." My husband is one of five and so am I, when you add to that our six children, spouses, grandchildren, neices, nephew, parents and a whole mess of friends it is a happen place. The average crowd for dinner could be two to 25 on any given day. Both my husband and I our teachers by profession and love to work with young people. I enjoy many different activities. I like to cook, sew, gardening, attend sporting events and am always looking to learn something new.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was eight my parents were introduced to the church by their neighbors. They invited us to dinner, activites and to church. My parents knew that the gospel of true and joined the church. They wanted me to know for my self the truth of the gospel. So they asked me to attend primary and learn of the teaching and to make sure that I had my own testimony of the gospel. I did as they asked and was truly converted. I was baptised at twelve years of age. I know that the gospel is true, It is the guide through life that I follow. Helping me to be a better mother, wife, daughter, neighbor, friend and teacher. It leads to happiness

How I live my faith

I live my faith everyday. Everyday begins with a prayer. I have served in many organizations in the church. Currently I am serving the Young Women of our ward as the Young Womens President. Working with other fabulous ladies and gentlemen, planning activities for the young people in our area. The youth keep me young. They are so energetic, funny, fresh and sincere. We go camping, learning cooking, self defense, safety, auto care, the importance of family and just how important they are to our Heavenly Father. I am blessed to know them and spend time with them.
