Hi I'm Becky

I live in Colorado and am a wife and mother of five amazing kids and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife, sister, friend and mother. I enjoy my family and spending time with them. We like to travel around the country visiting big cities and camping in smaller ones. I grew up loving to snow ski and water ski with my parents and siblings and we've been able to carry that tradition on with our five kids. I love the out doors, swimming, reading, touring model homes, traveling, skiing, and musicals.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have lived the principles taught to me by my parents and church leaders and have found a joy and peace that is indescribable. I grew up in a family with 7 kids and had the example of hard working, dedicated, service oriented parents. We were taught principles and encouraged to live them but the decision of how to live our religion was left to us. I wanted to do and be my best and I found the way to do that was living the commandments to the best of my ability. I find joy each day in being a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by studying, attending church meetings, being the best mom I can (some days are much better than others) and accepting each church calling that has been extended to me. Right now I am able to work with the youth, girls 12-18 and love being with them. We camp together, boat together, cry together, have lessons together, and serve together. I see the difference that internalizing the teachings of Christ can make in ones life as I work with these girls. Knowing who you are, where you are going, and why you are here on earth at this time gives a focus and balance to life that I wouldn't want to live without.
