Hi I'm Annette Muir

I grew up in Seattle. I'm a stay at home mom of 4 kids. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mom of four cute kids, and I'm a runner. Not only do I run after my kids, and run them to all their activities, I enjoy running as a hobby. I've run one marathon, 3 half marathons, and one relay race. My husband's job as an airline pilot keeps me running as well. He's often gone, and I have to run the household alone. I also love to read, and always read the ending of the book first (it has to have a good ending, or I refuse to waste my time! )

Why I am a Mormon

I love my Church because it teaches me about how to be happy. I was baptized when I was 8yrs old, and have been a member all my life. I teach my children about the Gospel because I know that by following its teachings, we can achieve the greatest happiness in our lives. I am thankful that I know about Jesus Christ, and his sacrifice and resurrection. It brings great peace to know that we have the potential to be together as families after this life.

How I live my faith

I teach a lesson each Sunday to adults about Christ's teachings in the Bible. During the week, I study for my lesson. My husband and I also are on a committe to help plan a weekend youth conference for about 30 youth--teaching them all about proper etiquette. I am also assigned to visit 3 women each month and make sure their needs are being met and they know they are loved. It takes time to fulfill each of these assignments, but I feel happy to serve.
