Hi I'm Connor

I'm from Bountiful, UT in a family of 7. I'm a missionary in Texas. I love music, sports and eating. I'm a Mormon

About Me

Some things about me- I was born in Salt Lake City, UT and have lived in the wonderful city of Bountiful almost my whole life. I come from a family of 7 having one older brother and three younger sisters. My family has always been something I have been able to fall back on no matter what I am going through. I love them all dearly and know that we are an eternal family. My dad and mom are athletic, so naturally I grew up playing sports. All throughout my childhood and high school I played football, basketball, baseball. My favorite is football, but whether it was whiffle ball with my dad in the back yard, or shootin hoops with my buddies I have always enjoyed sports. I also love music. I play the piano and guitar, and love listening to almost anything other than country. I can truly say that I love my life and I have been given so many great examples to grow up around. I have always had close friends and family that I know I can turn to in times of need. My goal in life is to always be happy!

Why I am a Mormon

There are several reasons why I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. First of all, being a Mormon has always felt right. All growing up I have realized that the most peace in life has come from living the gospel of Jesus Christ. Putting everything aside, the Mormon lifestyle is the best way a person can live their life. I also have a personal testimony that this church is true. First and foremost I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior. I know that it is only through his grace that we are saved, after all we can do. I know that the fullness of the gospel of Jesus Christ was restored through the prophet Joseph Smith, and the Book of Mormon that was translated through him bears witness of this truth. The way I have come to know this truth is through the power of the Holy Ghost. I have read and asked God about the Book of Mormon. I have received an answer from him countless times that it is indeed true. I know anyone that reads and prays about it with a sincere heart, faith in Christ, and real intent can also know of its' truthfullness. This is the way that all of us can find true peace and happiness amidst the chaos that we are surrounded by in the world today. I invite all to read the Book of Mormon, ponder the message it contains, and ask our Father in Heaven if it is not true. I know that the answer you receive will bring you more direction and guidance in your life than ever before. That's exactly why I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

How I live my faith

Because of the testimony that I have of this gospel, when I was 19 I took the opportunity to serve a full-time 2 year mission for the church. I was called by our prophet Thomas S. Monson to serve in the Texas San Antonio Mission! Also I was assigned to speak the Spanish language. I am currently in New Braunfels, Texas serving amongst these wonderful people. I have seen so many lives changed for the better by living the gospel of Jesus Christ, including my own. I love my mission. I am so greatful for the ability I have to serve a mission, and I would invite any young man my age to do so as well. It is by far the best thing that I could be doing in my life right now and it's also a lot of fun! I look forward to the year I have left to serve, and I know that for the rest of my life I will be sharing this gospel with others because of the joy that comes from living it.
