Hi I'm Cyndee

I'm a Mormon.I was baptized at BYU in 1980 during my junior year. Finding the gospel changed my life forever!

About Me

I am a mother of 6 sons who have taught me so much over the last 30 years. I have been happily married for almost 32 years. We have made it through lots of trials together We are in this for eternity so that keeps my feet firmly planted. I love to work with children with special needs. I also enjoy helping people learn how to take care of themselves through nutrition. Life is always busy . My favorites days are sunny days when I can put my feet up for a few moments and take time to ponder and reflect on my life. Each day truly is a gift from a loving Heavenly Father. My favorite quote "NEVER NEVER NEVER GIVE UP"Winston Churchill

Why I am a Mormon

I transferred to Brigham Young University after my freshman year of college. I remember how happy people seemed. I took a New Testament class and felt so wonderful every time I was in that class. The professor was kind and I knew he loved the Savior. I started to attended some activities with friends. Again I felt a wonderful feeling. Then I went to a sacrament meeting and that wonderful feeling was there also. I was taught about how Jesus Christ had established his church when he lived and that it had been lost but had been restored to the earth through a prophet named Joseph Smith. As I learned all these truths I had a wonderful peaceful feeling. I was baptized and confirmed a member of The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints 31 years ago. I now know the wonderful feeling that I experienced so many times is the Holy Ghost which has been my constant companion as I have keep the commandments of God. I am looking forward to the second coming of our Savior Jesus Christ. I know I will be helped through the tough times by the Holy Ghost. I want every one to have this same help.

How I live my faith

I really enjoy being part of a ward(congregation). I like how people help each other out and care for each other. People need each other and can only feel unconditional love when we are helping another person. I love the visiting teaching and home teaching programs that this church offers. I am grateful to be given many opportunities to serve others. I guess knowing that the Savior said"When you do it unto the least of these you do it unto me" makes me want to love everyone and help them. After all we are all God's children.
