Hi I'm Dan

I am a missionary, a wrestler, an outdoors man, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm the youngest of eight, and love it. I grew up outside of town with only one neighbor. For fun we would go hunting, fishing, and ride dirt bikes across the street from our house. Through my middle school, and high school years I became quite involved in wrestling. Almost all of my time was in the mat room or working out trying to stay in shape for the next season. Being on a team like that really helped me to understand the type of person I wanted to be. It established a ground or foundation for me. All of the kids knew who I was, and what I stood for. They sometimes joked about how I didn't participate in some of the activities they did. But through it all they gained a respect for me. I later earned a prestigious leadership award from the coaches, and the team. I know that it has been my faith in Christ that has brought me as far as I have come. I am now serving a full time mission in New Zealand for the church. I know this church to be true or else I would not have given two years of my life to help others receive the same joy that I have!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon simply because I have seen, and felt the many blessings that come from following Christ and his teaching from both the Bible, and the Book of Mormon. In my life I have had many great leaders that have helped direct and guide me. I always knew what they were telling, and the things they wanted me to do were the right thing, but I never really tried to gain a testimony for myself. There came a point in my younger years that I was challenged to read the Book of Mormon every single day for just one hour, then write down what I thought and the impressions that I had received. I didn't really expect much from it, but I took the challenge upon myself and did it. As I did this every single day seemed to get brighter, and all of my classes and things I was involved in seem to become easier. I then realized that it was through my daily prayers, and scripture study that I had experienced so many blessings. I do know that this Church is true. I know that if people will listen to the message that we share that they will be blessed. They will experience the same joy that I feel. I testify that through Jesus Christ we can return to live with our Heavenly Father again, and also our families! Also that we can know that this is the true church through asking in faith, studying the doctrine, and truly desiring to know if The Book of Mormon is the word of God. I'm so very thankful for all of my family, and friends that support me in my decision to follow Christ. I personally invite anyone who hasn't had the chance to meet with the missionaries, or learn more of how this church can bless their lives to get in contact with the missionaries either through this website, or a friend! You will not regret your decision to investigate, and learn more. I can promise you that!

How I live my faith

The way I live my faith is simple. I put my trust in God. I do the things that he has asked, and in return I know that I am blessed. I live it by inviting others to come unto Christ every single day as I serve Him on a full time mission.
