Hi I'm Kimberly

I love going new places, baking, and making people happy.

About Me

I like being outside. I love to hike, camp, and go rollerblading. I like volunteering. I love working particularly with an organization that builds houses. Roofing is my favorite thing to do. I like to decorate cakes and am the official birthday cake maker for my nieces and nephews, which I love. I like visiting with older people. I used to visit a nursing home every week when I was in college and the people there became dear friends whom I love. I like to travel. I spent a summer in Africa and absolutely loved experiencing another culture, people, and land. I believe that as varied as we all are in all nations and cultures, there are some things we all have in common.

Why I am a Mormon

My faith is deeply rooted in a personal conviction that I am a daughter of God. I know He exists because I can feel His influence through the scriptures, service to other people and an overall peace and happiness in my life. As I live the way I know God teaches us to live I am filled with a sense of completeness and wholeness. I love my Heavenly Father and I know that He loves me. Knowing that there is a higher being who has a plan for my life and the people I love fills me with assurance and hope even when current circumstances seem unfair or tragic. It gives me strength to do things that are personally difficult. It makes me want to live a better life and help other people.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by studying who Jesus Christ is and trying to become like him. I communicate daily with my Heavenly Father and try to live a life He approves of. I live my faith by serving other people and attending weekly church meeting and activities. I organize weekly activities for other young adults my age to provide an opportunity for fellowshipping, fun and support.
