Hi I'm Trina

I'm a photographer, a military wife, and a stay-at-home mom. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to be with my family and being outdoors. I have three beautiful kids and an amazing husband who is a Staff Sergeant in the U.S. Army. He has been deployed twice which has brought obvious trials but has been a big blessing for us as well. I am a stay-at-home mom, but I am a photographer on the side. I mainly take portraits, but I am willing to do anything!

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the LDS Church all my life. The gospel principles that my parents taught to me as a child have become well rooted within me and I am now able to share them with my own children. The Plan of Salvation gives me the knowledge of where I came from, why I am here, and where I am going. That knowledge gives me the confidence and peace I need to be able to find joy in life. The Savior's atonement shows how much He truly loves each one of us and wants us to return to live with Him again. As a parent, I have come to realize that His commandments are given to us because of how much He loves us and desires for us to have joy in our lives and return to Him someday. I know that if we continue to try to pattern our lives after His we will have to surety, joy, peace, and comfort that so many people search their entire lives for. I love my Heavenly Father and I want to live with Him someday!

How I live my faith

I am the 2nd counselor over the women in our ward. I am also the Music Leader for sacrament meeting where all the families are together to listen to talks given by members of the ward and to partake of the sacrament. As 2nd counselor over the women I am in charge of organizing activities each month as well as making sure the physical, spiritual, and emotional needs of the sisters are met. As the music leader I direct usually 4 songs each week and 3 songs on the first Sunday of each month which is Fast Sunday. I truly love my callings. They are helping me to learn and grow more in the gospel every day!
