Hi I'm Jenn

I am a crafter, a preschool teacher, a mother, a wife, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and am currently teaching preschool in my home so that I can be here with my three little kids (and another one coming near Christmas). I love to craft and try my hand at new things. I enjoy almost anything hands on.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because my faith is who I am. I believe that everything in life leads me back to my Savior. Whether I am struggling with a choice in life, a trial I need to overcome, or just need help finding my car keys, I know that the Lord cares enough to listen to what is in my heart and on my mind. I know that the path I have chosen for myself has led me through difficult times but ultimately I am happier than I could ever be without the church! Mostly it is about being happy and being with my family. As a mother, a wife, a daughter, and a sister, I can't imagine life or death without those that mean everything to me. The church helps me to understand how I can choose to spend forever with the people that I love. There is nothing on this earth that could bring me the same joy that I have in that knowledge.

How I live my faith

I am so blessed to have the amazing job of working with the children in our congregation! I get to oversee the teaching of children ages 18 months-12 years, and it is incredible! I spend two hours a week singing songs, teaching lessons, and checking in on individual classes for the more than 100 children in this age group. It is a challenge, but I wouldn't trade it! I love learning the gospel at such a basic level, and sharing my testimony with the children! The songs teach pure truths in a way that speaks to my heart, and as I watch my own children learning I can see that it is touching their hearts too!
