Hi I'm Steve

I am the youngest of 7 children, a lucky husband, a huge Denver Broncos fan, a manager at Target, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 25 years old and have been married for 3 wonderful years to my wife Amanda Kate. I grew up in Colorado and this explains why I am such a huge Denver Broncos fan. I love sports in general, but my biggest passion is football. I like to play, watch, and think about sports. I enjoy camping, biking, playing board games, and spending time with my family. I am a proud Uncle of 14 nephews and neices and want to be a father someday soon through adoption. I have 4 brothers and 2 sisters that are all older than me. Some may say that I am spoiled but I just think I am blessed:) We get together with family every year for our reunions. I also love to travel the world and go on vacations with my sweet heart. We went on a cruise to the Western Carribean this last spring.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the Mormon church, but I have my own passionate belief and knowledge that it is God's true church on the earth today. I came to this realization after I left home and was at college my freshman year. I decided to read the Book of Mormon to find out if what this book and religion teach is true and if this is the way I should live the rest of my life. Soon after starting to read the Book of Mormon for myself I fell in love with it. I am not much of a reader, but for some reason this book made me feel good and I craved to learn more from it. After finishing the Book of Mormon I prayed to God and asked Him if what I just read was true. I definitely got an answer from God because I felt so peaceful and happy. I knew that God answered my prayer and that He loves me very much. I also love to read and learn from the Bible. These scriptures are from God through prophets and I have found as I read them and apply them I am much more happy than I would have been other wise. Some may say that being a Mormon is hard because it is a strict religion, but I love it because I know that I am doing the right things that God wants me to do.

How I live my faith

I am a member missionary for my church. Basically what that means is I support the full time missionaries and try to teach and bring people to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I love meeting with people and sharing that we care about them and would love to have them come to church to find out for themselves if what we proclaim to be true is really true or not. I also have 4 families that I visit every month to make sure they are doing good. The rest of the time I go to church as much as possible and live the standards to the best of my abilities. Reading from the scriptures and praying have brought me closer to God than anything else.
